Retro Cool

There is just something about an old Volkswagen that puts a smile on my face. I ♥ vintage vehicles. They have such personality. Whether they're rusted, restored or abandoned in a lot - I love the way they look. I saw this VW bus and I had to stop to snap a picture. I think driving this around town would be such a hoot.

THESE ARE THE DAYS

These Are The Days is one of my favorite songs by the 10,000 Maniacs. The song reminds us that we are all truly blessed and lucky. Life gives us every day miracles. But most of us are too busy to notice these daily blessings. Slow down, breathe easily and let your senses soak in your surroundings.

I want to remember these days. I want to cherish every hour, minute and second with my children, family and friends. And, I want to teach them to see the beauty in their world and to cherish all that they have.

So, I've titled this blog These Are The Days. These are the days to remember. These are the days to cherish. These are the days to fill with laughter. These are the days to remember that I am lucky and blessed.
