Bruce Springsteen

I got to experience a Bruce Springsteen concert last night. I didn't know what to expect because I'm not a huge Bruce fan. I know, shame on me. However, I soon found out that this man can ROCK! I was truly amazed at how great he and the E Street Band sounded. The energy of the crowd was infectious. Bruce had the whole house standing. Men and women of all ages were hugging, dancing and simply rocking out. I couldn't help myself - I too, was dancing, clapping and singing.

We entered the stadium just as he was playing Lucky Day. A song I know very well and one of my daughter's favorites. Bruce had the crowd going and then he went right into Radio Nowhere. The lights, the sounds, the energy - it was all amazing.

For Born To Run all the house lights came on. Everyone was flooded in bright, white lights. The dark stadium, instantly transformed into what felt like an old-school gymnasium. Everyone cheering with hands in the air. There I stood, amongst thousands, at a Bruce Springsteen Concert.

Pretty cool. Pretty darn cool.
