Finnigan is here!

Finnigan is back!

Finnigan is one of Santa's helpers. He comes from the North Pole to be the ears and eyes of Santa. He is assigned to watch over our family and to report back to Santa each night about who has been naughty or nice that day. By morning he's back but he's usually in a different place in the house. It's Maelyns job to find him in the morning.

THESE ARE THE DAYS

These Are The Days is one of my favorite songs by the 10,000 Maniacs. The song reminds us that we are all truly blessed and lucky. Life gives us every day miracles. But most of us are too busy to notice these daily blessings. Slow down, breathe easily and let your senses soak in your surroundings.

I want to remember these days. I want to cherish every hour, minute and second with my children, family and friends. And, I want to teach them to see the beauty in their world and to cherish all that they have.

So, I've titled this blog These Are The Days. These are the days to remember. These are the days to cherish. These are the days to fill with laughter. These are the days to remember that I am lucky and blessed.
