My Joyful Simplicities for March

Saturday mornings soccer games - sitting on the sidelines in lawn chairs with coffee, snacks and toys;
- feeling so proud of my little girl and her teammates;
-noticing that she is growing, maturing and turning into an athlete;
Watching little girls give high-fives and yell, "woo-hoo!";
A birthday celebration for two, very dear neighborhood friends (A & G);
Butterfly and Robot cupcakes ----- yummy;
Time spent with my little dude and late morning trips to local parks;
-loving his nack of conversation: "Let me show you something" when he really wants to say is, "Let me tell you something."
-laps around the track with {S};
-searching for squirrels;
-spotting nests, high in tree tops;
-interest in bugs and insects;
Spring buds and blooms poking their heads out;
Slowly saying goodbye to winter and winter clothing;
Finishing the Attic Project and loving the results;
-Friday night movies in the new playroom snuggled in bean bags and munching popcorn and candy;
-the four of us, curled up and crowded around a small 19" tv;
-making memories together;
Warm sunny days spent outside with the kids;
Tidying up the yard and welcoming spring with wide open arms;
A very Happy St. Patrick's Day and a visit from our friendly, mischievous Leprechaun, Lannigen;
-a one-time purchase of Lucky Charms and the kids didn't even like it (I'm not complaining);
{M} is reading non-stop - I love listening to her;
A warm afternoon spent at the ball park supporting and rooting for our neighborhood friends;
{M} lost her first tooth! The excitement was infectious. We celebrated by going to Krispy Kreme;
-a handwritten note to the tooth fairy explaining that this was her first tooth lost;
Acknowledging the beauty of life, friendships and family; and
Remembering to count my blessings daily.
