Beautiful Day

A beautiful day....... to be eating with our fingers. Surrounded by our environment. Picking things up with sticky fingers. Feeling the warm breeze on our face. Listening to birds chirping. Cuddling on the blanket. Riding bikes. Crawling and exploring. Waving to neighbors. Waiting for the postman. Dogs barking. Surrounded by those I love. Watching life. Little giggles. Laughs. Scraped knees.

I love beautiful days in this beautiful world.

THESE ARE THE DAYS

These Are The Days is one of my favorite songs by the 10,000 Maniacs. The song reminds us that we are all truly blessed and lucky. Life gives us every day miracles. But most of us are too busy to notice these daily blessings. Slow down, breathe easily and let your senses soak in your surroundings.

I want to remember these days. I want to cherish every hour, minute and second with my children, family and friends. And, I want to teach them to see the beauty in their world and to cherish all that they have.

So, I've titled this blog These Are The Days. These are the days to remember. These are the days to cherish. These are the days to fill with laughter. These are the days to remember that I am lucky and blessed.
