5th Anniversary

Andy and I celebrated our fifth wedding anniversary. We celebrated by going to our favorite Thai Restaurant, Pan Asia.

Andy knows the owners and the food is outstanding. We had the whole place to ourselves. After dinner, Maelyn got to play with the owners four year old daughter, Risa. Risa was busy showing Maelyn all the photographs on the wall - photo's taken in China. Maelyn also watched the mother make homemade dumplings.

Afterwards we went to Historic Roswell to walk around. We enjoyed hot coffee and cookies while we sat on a rickety porch overlooking main street.

These Are The Days is one of my favorite songs by the 10,000 Maniacs. The song reminds us that we are all truly blessed and lucky. Life gives us every day miracles. But most of us are too busy to notice these daily blessings. Slow down, breathe easily and let your senses soak in your surroundings.

I want to remember these days. I want to cherish every hour, minute and second with my children, family and friends. And, I want to teach them to see the beauty in their world and to cherish all that they have.

So, I've titled this blog These Are The Days. These are the days to remember. These are the days to cherish. These are the days to fill with laughter. These are the days to remember that I am lucky and blessed.
